Mountain Community Monte Cervino

The Mountain Community Monte Cervino, in the Aosta Valley, was instituted in 1974 and embraces the Communes of Antey-Saint-André, Chambave, Chamois, Châtillon, Emarèse, La Magdeleine, Pontey, Saint-Denis, Saint-Vincent, Torgnon, Valtournenche and Verrayes, which share a territory and objectives for a common development.

The surface area of the Mountain Community is 335,61 qkm, that is to say 33.561 ha. The resident population is 17.077 inhabitants (31/12/2009).
