Mountain Community Monte Cervino

The Mountain Community Monte Cervino, in the Aosta Valley, was instituted in 1974 and embraces the Communes of Antey-Saint-André, Chambave, Chamois, Châtillon, Emarèse, La Magdeleine, Pontey, Saint-Denis, Saint-Vincent, Torgnon, Valtournenche and Verrayes, which share a territory and objectives for a common development.

The surface area of the Mountain Community is 335,61 qkm, that is to say 33.561 ha. The resident population is 17.077 inhabitants (31/12/2009).

The words are signs. And vice versa. Giorgio Forattini tells us the recent history of our Country through the satire.
Of its human traits, its contradictions, its expectations.
Simply with a pencil, at the same way and even better of a television news. "Forattini. Satira in Gloria", a new anthological exhibition with more than 600 illustrations dedicated to his illustrator career, outlines a clear political-social analysis of the Italian history of the last 37 years. In this exhibition the illustrations gain in depth and dynamism and are reproduced in 3D with materials, techniques and different size or projected as video installations.
