It can be easily reached from Valtournenche taking the road leading to the hamlet of Cheneil. From the area you can admire the Grandes Murailles, the Château des Dames and the Punta Tsan to the north-west, to the north-east there are the Cime Bianche and to the north you can enjoy a spectacular view of the Matterhorn.

The area offers views of the Longhède Peak and Becca d'Aver to the north,Mount Zerbion to the east, Mount Nery to the south-east, while to the south you can see Mount Barbeston, Mount Avic, Mount Emilius and Becca di Nona.

The picnic area can be reached from Torgnon taking the road leading to Chatelard and then to Chantorné. From the area you can admire the Mount Tantané and the Mount Zerbion to the east, the Grand Tournalin and the Roisetta to the north-east, the pastures of Chantorné to the north, the Mount Méabé, the Col Fenêtre and the Becca d'Aver to the west.
